  4. pour moi-meme…
being a tactile soul, I can derive vicarious pleasure from just watching a touch–here, occurring twice: a hand across ice (on the Broadway road barrier), and the hand-to-hot waffle moment; but the ice? quite nice!

  6. We are so often immersed in our quotidienne tasks and worries that we find little time to recognize and deal with our emotional beings. So when we encounter stimuli that allow us the pleasure of finding and feeling an emotional reaction, we truly appreciate the experience. Here, the authors have eschewed the common format of narrative that builds tension and then provides dramatic and cathartic emotional relief, and instead they have chosen to carefully create a collage of images that touch all our senses, including the virtual smell of waffles and feel of ice on our finger or wool fabric on our face or the warm hand of a friend or mate. The faces of joy and wonder and shared pleasures draw us in and leave us smiling and feeling good about the world, with an early tear reflecting the intensity of our emotional reaction. Bravo, meerkats. Your talent in this medium has reached a new height.
