director benoît jacquot (la fausse suivante, a tout de suite) and jean-michel frodon, editor-in-chief of les cahiers du cinéma, introduce a special screening of le diable probablement. followed by Q&A in english about french cinema of the ‘70s, moderated by sam di iorio, hunter college.
le diable probablement / the devil probablyrobert bresson, 1977. color. 95 min.
with antoine monnier, tina irissari.
centered on a group of young parisians, this film charts the disenchantment of a 20-year-old who rejects the compromises of elders and peers in favor of commitment to doubt, resistance and self-destruction.

This could be great. Do you want to do this for Project Film School?
Robert Bresson is the director who just did Regular Lovers, right?

Money Shmoney. You don’t need to make “mad bucks” to live here. You just need to be flexible with your living situation…patient with others…and have a very high taco/pizza/pasta tolerance.
But we should also start “goings on” pages for other places too…so if you don’t live in NY then you can advertise kickass events in SanFran or Cochabamba or wherever you land!
