we say “menner”
May 8th, 2007 by ginaone thing i love about the internet is the random ways in which you find things:
for example, today i was searching youtube, looking for antony and the johnson videos, specifically one for the song “bird gerhl” – i typed in antony and bird…. i promptly found a usermade video called “bird guhl” for the song and starting watching it
on the side though, next to the video, one of the featured links was for a video called “bird (starlings) migration mentor ohio” shot in 1992
i just happen to be from mentor, ohio (and am headed there on thursday) : so that got me to thinking about what other mentor videos might be on youtube : so i did a search for mentor and ohio.
this trail led me to the video that i now i present to you:
“mentor and more” – this is where i’m from folks
(although the video fails to mention the tons of beautiful fields/trees they are currently tearing up to build more unnecessary housing and the overload of big box shopping; also i should add that i have no affiliation with eastlake or “greaselake” as we used to call it)

Gina, why is your town obsessed with 9/11, and why was it that he immediately (or the editor chose him to immediately) launch from 9/11 to class A minor league? Wow.
Also, I never used to classify anything east of Illinois as midwest (until a “Midwest Parklands” book I found included Indiana, Ohio, and all of Missourri–yo, half of Missourri fought with the South—that is NOT midwestern—jeez). Sorry. I digress. I wanted to say that you proved to me that Ohio is part of the midwest because of their glaring accent. Holy balogna!
