many of us staged some kind of political action in our uninhibited childhood. i launched a chalking campaign demanding longer vacations when my middle school extended its school day by 15 minutes, and i know other meerkats who staged pickets with their stuffed animals.

but i don’t think any of us can compare with these kids in Santa Ana, California, who saw the Minutemen harassing people at the Mexican Consulate during recess and staged an action on their playground across the street!
