During the first week in March Jesse Morrow Hensel, Sarah Diane Willis, Jesse Tyler Walton, and Laura Cassidy Rogers traveled from the San Francisco Art Institute to the World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, Alaska. Together over the course of six days we turned 700 cubic ft of ice into the monumental sculpture, Arc of the Sun.
